The first dialogue conference with workers in 2025 of the Petroleum and Power generation Branch (PVPGB) recently held on July 1 showed that the highlight is that in the first 6 months of 2025, PVPGB in general and Thai Binh 2 and Song Hau 1 thermal power plants in particular have seriously implemented the Collective Labor Agreement, ensuring jobs, income and welfare regimes for workers.
At PVPGB, labor contracts are signed in accordance with regulations; professional training, overtime, leave, effective bonuses, safety bonuses and support for holidays and Tet are paid promptly. The factories also strictly implemented the committed contents, with 26 recommendations of workers resolved at dialogue conferences, most of which were satisfactorily answered right at the facility.
In the last 6 months of 2025, PVPGB determined to continue to strictly implement the contents signed in the Collective Labor Agreement, ensure jobs, wages, provide adequate protection and effectively implement welfare regimes for workers. In addition, sports and emulation movements to celebrate major holidays and gratitude activities will also be implemented to improve spiritual life and create motivation for production competition.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Permanent Vice President of Petrovietnam Trade Union highly appreciated the democratic and open spirit at the conference when workers directly proposed many practical solutions, including initiatives that could be considered for recognition for widespread application.
The Branch's regular organization of summary conferences, thematic conferences, and periodic dialogues has contributed to the effectiveness of corporate governance, creating a close and open working environment, while promoting a harmonious relationship between employers and employees throughout the Branch.
The Vice President of Petrovietnam Trade Union suggested that the Branch and functional departments continue to pay attention to and improve welfare, especially housing for workers. At the same time, he affirmed that Petrovietnam Trade Union will always accompany and share with the Branch and workers to overcome difficulties to complete production and business tasks with the highest efficiency.
