Mr. Nguyen Cuu Loi has been attached to the electricity industry for 18 years. His biological parents have both passed away, his wife does not have a stable job, mainly staying at home to take care of 4 children of school age. The family of 8 including him and his wife, 4 young children and his elderly wife's parents have had to live in a cramped house for many years, all expenses mainly depend on his salary.
With the desire to have a stable place to live, Mr. Loi and his wife decided to build a house on the land given by his wife's parents. However, difficult economic conditions made building a solid house a big burden.
Understanding the situation of union members, the Trade Union of Hue Power Company coordinated with the Trade Union of Hue High Voltage Power Grid Enterprise to survey and propose support from the "Trade Union Shelter" program, to help his family have more conditions to realize their dream of settling down.
After a period of construction, the level 4 house with an area of 70m2, with a mezzanine, corrugated iron roof, and tiled floor has been completed on schedule, ensuring solidity, meeting living needs and helping Mr. Loi's family feel secure before the rainy and storm season.
To build the house, Mr. Loi's family received joint support from Trade Union levels. In which, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union supported 60 million VND from the EVN Social Mutual Assistance Fund; the Central Power Corporation Trade Union supported 15 million VND; the Hue Electricity Company Trade Union supported 10 million VND. The Hue High Voltage Power Grid Enterprise Trade Union donated essential household items. The remaining funds were accumulated by the family and received support from relatives and family.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Ha - Chairman of EVNCPC Trade Union - performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate and hand over the "Trade Union Shelter" house to Mr. Nguyen Cuu Loi's family.
Congratulating the union member's family with a new house, Mr. Tran Dinh Ha encouraged Mr. Loi to continue to strive in his work, complete the assigned tasks well, feel secure in labor production and actively participate in Trade Union activities. At the same time, he wished the family to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, take care of their children to study well, and build an increasingly stable life.
Moved by the concern and care of Trade Union levels, Mr. Nguyen Cuu Loi expressed his deep gratitude to the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, EVNCPC Trade Union, Hue Electricity Company Trade Union and Hue High Voltage Power Grid Enterprise Trade Union for accompanying and supporting his family in difficult times.
Mr. Loi shared that the new house not only helps his family have a stable place to live but is also a great source of encouragement for himself to continue striving in his work, taking better care of his family and children.
