VNPost Trade Union (under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology) has just held the 3rd Conference of the Executive Committee, term V to assess the results of trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year, and deploy directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Comrade Tran Duc Thich - Chairman of VNPost Trade Union emphasized that the first 6 months of 2026 are the period when the Corporation continues to strongly implement the Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels, accelerate the digital transformation process, innovate the organizational model and implement many solutions to improve production and business efficiency. In that context, the trade union organization has always accompanied professional departments, promoted the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; and at the same time constantly innovate the content and methods of operation to meet the requirements in the new development period.
In the first 6 months of 2026, the VNPost Trade Union has successfully completed the key tasks set out. Trade union levels have closely coordinated with professional departments to effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations, organize employee conferences at 62/64 units, maintain periodic dialogues at workplaces, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of employees, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The work of caring for union members and workers continues to be widely deployed with many practical and effective activities. On the occasion of Binh Ngo Tet 2026, VNPost Trade Union has coordinated to organize the program "Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude to the Party", visiting and supporting more than 1,000 union members in difficult circumstances; implementing the program "Trade Union Tet Market", supporting "New Year's Eve Meal", building "Trade Union Shelter"...
Along with care work, patriotic emulation movements continue to be actively implemented, closely linked to production and business tasks such as "Improving the quality of Postal and Delivery services", "Commune Post Office - Breakthrough to a new stage", "Vietnampost creative initiative", "Good labor - Creative labor"...
Speaking to direct at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Member Council of Vietnam Post Corporation, acknowledged and praised the results achieved by VNPost Trade Union levels in the first 6 months of 2026, and emphasized that the Trade Union organization needs to continue to strongly innovate to accompany the development process of the Corporation in the new period.
Mr. Giang proposed that the trade union focus on implementing four key tasks: The trade union accompanies the comprehensive transformation of Vietnam Post; the trade union must be the core force in building Vietnam Post culture; the trade union accompanies the innovation of cadre evaluation work; the trade union accompanies the building of an environment for talented people to integrate and develop.
Mr. Pham Quang Huong - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union highly appreciated the proactive and creative spirit of the VNPost Trade Union in deploying work tasks right from the beginning of the year.
Mr. Huong also acknowledged the outstanding results in the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members, emulation work, developing union members and innovating trade union activities associated with the political tasks of enterprises; strongly innovating the content and methods of operation in a practical direction, towards grassroots levels; promoting the role of trade union organizations in digital transformation...
The conference also voted to approve the Resolution of the 3rd Conference of the VNPost Trade Union Executive Committee, term V with high consensus.
