Attending the launching ceremony, on EVN's side were Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the EVN Party Committee; Pham Le Phu - Deputy General Director of EVN.
On the side of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union were Mr. Do Duc Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union; Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Uong Quang Huy and Nguyen Kim Thanh.
On the side of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant were Mr. Vu Thanh Hai - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Plant; Mr. Tran Ngoc Huong - Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Director of the Plant.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union - emphasized that this is a movement of practical significance, implemented in the context of the country entering a new stage of development with the requirement to promote innovation, digital transformation, science and technology development and high economic growth.
For EVN, the emulation movement is closely linked to key tasks such as ensuring safe, stable, and continuous power supply; improving production and business efficiency; developing power sources and grids; building smart grids; improving customer service quality and taking care of workers' lives.
Speaking to direct at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the EVN Party Committee - acknowledged the proactiveness of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union in concretizing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan highly appreciated the practical presentations and initiatives of the units on improving the quality of human resources, digital transformation, innovation and care for workers.
The 2026-2031 period sets out many important tasks for the Group, especially ensuring safe, stable, and continuous power supply; accelerating investment in key power source and grid projects; improving production and business efficiency; promoting science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; and improving jobs, income and welfare for workers.
The EVN Party Committee requests that the emulation movement must be closely linked to the political tasks of the Group, taking the results of implementing the Party Committee's resolutions and action programs as striving goals. In which, focus on key contents such as ensuring national energy security, accelerating the progress of key projects, developing high-quality human resources, building EVN culture, strengthening discipline, labor order and taking practical care of workers" - Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan said.
EVN Party Committee leaders requested Party committees, professional departments and trade unions at all levels to urgently concretize the emulation movement into action plans and specific targets; strengthen inspection, supervision, commendation and replication of advanced examples, contributing to building EVN for sustainable and modern development, maintaining its core role in ensuring national energy security.
Also at the launching ceremony, a signing ceremony was held to commit to implementing the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income" for the period 2026-2031 between the Director and the Chairman of the Trade Union of Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant.
