On the afternoon of February 21, Soc Trang Power Company (PCST) held a Workers' Conference in 2025.
According to the report, in 2024, the PCST Trade Union closely coordinated with the professional sector to implement many practical activities, comprehensively caring for the material and spiritual life of workers. Collective labor agreements and grassroots democracy regulations are strictly implemented, creating conditions for employees to know, participate in giving opinions and supervise issues related to rights and obligations. Thanks to that, harmonious and stable labor relations are built and strengthened.
The company ensures that 100% of employees are allowed to sign labor contracts according to regulations, fully pay social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, and promptly resolve sickness and maternity benefits. The work of periodic health check-ups and purchasing 24/24 accident insurance is fully implemented for all employees.
During the year, 155 workers received salary increases, 79 people were promoted and 34 people were transferred to salary positions. Training work is focused on, improving the professional qualifications of the staff. The salaries are paid in full and on time, ensuring stable income and growth.
Occupational safety and hygiene are always a top priority for PCST. In 2024, the company spent 6.7 billion VND on this work, including purchasing personal protective equipment, equipping safety equipment, inspecting equipment, training on labor safety and regular monitoring.
PCST Trade Union also coordinated to organize many cultural, sports, and tourism activities, visiting, encouraging, and giving gifts to workers and their families, with a total budget of hundreds of millions of VND.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Xuan Thai - Chairman of the Southern Power Corporation's Trade Union - acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the 2024 tasks of the staff of Soc Trang Power Company and praised their efforts, efforts to overcome difficulties, and good completion of assigned tasks.
At the conference, delegates elected 9 delegates to attend the Southern Power Corporation Labor Conference in 2025.
