On January 10, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union coordinated with professionals and trade unions of railway units in Dong Hoi area (Quang Binh province) to organize the program "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party".
At the program, 74 gifts with a total value of nearly 60 million VND were given to workers and laborers to care for and support Tet. These gifts were given to workers and laborers of 4 units: Quang Binh Railway Joint Stock Company, Dong Hoi Railway Transport Branch, Vinh Wagon Enterprise, Vinh Locomotive Enterprise Branch.
The program also presented gifts to 11 workers and laborers with difficult family circumstances from units located in the Dong Hoi station area.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Railway Trade Union presented support to build houses for 2 workers of Quang Binh Railway Joint Stock Company with a total amount of 120 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Sy Manh - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Railway Corporation - acknowledged the contributions of workers in the past time.
The efforts of workers and employees have helped the Railway industry achieve new successes. Many types of railway transportation businesses have recently been deployed and received positive feedback from people and tourists. Hopefully, in the coming time, workers and employees of the Railway industry will try harder to help the industry achieve new successes.
