The Vietnam Health Trade Union has just issued an official dispatch on the implementation of key tasks in 2026.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Health Trade Union outlined key tasks and major events in 2026 for grassroots trade unions, including:
Participating in the preparation work, contributing to the successful organization of the 14th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026 - 2031.
Organize activities to care for the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 for union members and workers according to the plan.
Organize the study, dissemination and implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union; Resolution of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Health Trade Union.
Propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers to participate in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
Organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026); celebrate the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1); Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month 2026 (May); Peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, introducing outstanding union members to the Party for training and admission (May and July); activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
Continue to arrange and perfect the organizational model of the trade union apparatus at the unit after the merger and restructuring.
The Vietnam Health Trade Union has set out specific tasks and solutions, including performing well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
Research, propose and participate in developing and implementing policies and laws related to workers' rights. Implement the Trade Union Law (amended); organize and participate in social supervision and criticism activities according to regulations and decentralization; coordinate inspection and supervision of compliance with labor laws.
Focus on dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours, occupational safety and hygiene, quality shift meals, etc.
Proactively grasp and forecast the situation of labor relations, labor disputes, and collective work stoppages; proactively deploy and coordinate with competent authorities to implement preventive solutions, participate in resolving labor disputes and collective work stoppages; build progressive, harmonious and stable labor relations, ensuring worker security.
In addition, organize activities to care for the practical benefits and welfare of union members and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year 2026; promptly support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses, and having work-related accidents...
