Korean cuisine is famous for its diversity and richness, in which pancakes with potatoes and phomai (Gamja-jeon) are a dish loved by many people, especially children. This cake is not only easy to make but also brings a fragrant flavor, suitable for family treats on weekends.
To make French Potato Pancakes, housewives need to prepare the following ingredients: 500gr potatoes; 150gr French fries; 150gr mozzarella; 100gr all-purpose flour; 1 chicken eggs; 2 chicken branches and some other basic spices.
Next, prepare the ingredients with the peeled potatoes, wash them and cut them into small pieces. Steep the potatoes until soft, then puree in a large bowl. Wash and chop the green onions. Phomai mozzarella is cut into small squares to fill inside the cake.
In the potato dish, add a little flour, eggs, chopped green onions, salt and ground pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are combined and form a fine powder.
Divide the flour into small pieces. Take a portion of the dough, thinly arrange on your palms, place a piece of rice paper in the middle, then wrap and round the dough. Gently press the flour balls to create a Pancake shape.
Preheat a non-stick pan with a sufficient amount of cooking oil over medium heat and fry each piece of cake until each side is golden brown. When the cake is cooked, remove it from a plate with an oil-based paper lining to remove excess oil.
Pham potato Pancakes are best when enjoyed hot with a crispy, crunchy outside crust and melted phoi inside. Can be served with cakes of all kinds of sauces such as tomato sauce, mayonnaise or chili sauce depending on your preference.
