By December 2024, the Phan Thiet City Labor Federation (LF) directly managed 185 grassroots unions and affiliated unions with 13,661 union members/14,138 workers and civil servants.
Particularly from the beginning of 2024 until now, the Phan Thiet City Labor Federation has surveyed 6 non-state enterprises. Since then, 4 non-state enterprise grassroots unions have been established and 1,496 new union members have been developed. This has helped the Phan Thiet City Labor Federation reach the finish line and exceed the target of establishing 3 non-state enterprise grassroots unions in the year assigned by the Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Federation.
Determining that Phan Thiet city has more than 1,500 enterprises, including many industries, it is necessary to mobilize and propagate workers to participate in trade unions at enterprises in the area. In order to do a good job of mobilizing the establishment of trade unions at non-state enterprises, Mr. Vo Huy Luan - Chairman of Phan Thiet City Labor Federation shared with reporters that it has been implemented in many forms and methods.
The unit has surveyed and grasped the situation of enterprises and workers based on data provided by the Social Insurance and information on social networks. At the same time, it established a survey team to work directly with enterprises to propagate and mobilize workers to join unions and establish grassroots unions. In addition, it also coordinated with the City's Interdisciplinary Inspection Team to inspect Labor Law and Trade Unions.

From clearly identifying the current situation of the enterprise, to surveying the enterprise situation, with the cooperation and enthusiastic support of the enterprise owner, creating all conditions for the Phan Thiet City Labor Federation to do a good job of propaganda, mobilizing union members, and establishing grassroots unions. From there, helping the unit's work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions always meet and exceed the targets assigned by the Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Federation every year.
