The grassroots trade union also coordinates with the company to build regulations on salary and bonus payment, regulations on skill competitions, promotion; and salary adjustment for workers.
Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Thanh - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Phan Thiet Garment Export Joint Stock Company said that because the company has a large number of workers, it does not organize tours for excellent workers but increases the bonus level so that workers can rest and receive on-site training.
On holidays, the union organizes competitions such as karaoke singing contests and traditional democratic flower picking contests to create cohesion between departments and improve the spiritual life of workers.
Also thanks to the effective implementation and strong response from union members, this grassroots union has many union members participating in online contests to learn about unions and the Traffic Law organized by the Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Federation last year and many union members won prizes.
Strong union activities at the enterprise have created momentum for workers to enthusiastically produce to achieve and exceed the annual plan.
