On the morning of June 26, Ham Thang Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Saigon Binh Thuan International Eye Hospital Joint Stock Company.
This is a business operating in the health sector with a team of employees who are doctors and medical staff performing the task of taking care of and protecting people's health.
At the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Xuan Tham, Chairwoman of Ham Thang Ward Trade Union, presented the decision to establish the grassroots trade union, and at the same time presented the decision to admit 28 workers working at the company to the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tham congratulated the Provisional Grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee and newly admitted union members. At the same time, she acknowledged the concern, coordination and creation of conditions from business leaders in the process of establishing trade union organizations at the unit.
According to Ms. Tham, the establishment of grassroots trade unions not only contributes to caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers but also creates motivation to promote labor and production emulation movements in enterprises.
This is also considered an important foundation for building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of the unit.
