As a locality with many businesses operating in the fields of services, education and tourism, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province) identifies non-state-owned enterprises as the focus in union member development.
According to Mr. Thai Ngoc Son - Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union, the Steering Committee for developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions of the Provincial Labor Federation regularly monitors, urges and guides units to implement tasks.
On that basis, the Ward Trade Union proactively develops plans suitable to reality, strengthens propaganda, and mobilizes workers and businesses to participate in trade union organizations.
Thanks to this approach, in just the first days of July 2026, Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union has continuously announced decisions to establish 2 new grassroots trade unions.

Specifically, the grassroots Trade Union of Kim Ngoc Khanh Trading and Service Co., Ltd. was established with 16 members. The grassroots Trade Union of Kim Long Fish Flour Processing Joint Stock Company was established with 31 members. Along with the establishment decision, the Provincial Labor Federation also appointed a temporary executive committee for the grassroots trade union to go into operation immediately after establishment.
Mr. Pham Duc Ky - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Kim Long Fish Flour Processing Joint Stock Company - said that the trade union organization not only represents and protects the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers but also contributes to caring for life and building a stable and harmonious working environment. Therefore, when propagated, workers voluntarily join the organization.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, promoting the development of union members and establishing grassroots trade unions is contributing to expanding the network of Vietnamese Trade Unions at enterprises, increasing the rate of workers joining trade union organizations. Thereby, building harmonious and stable labor relations, meeting development requirements in the new situation.
