On the afternoon of January 18, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung visited and presented Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province. The delegation included comrade Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
During this visit and New Year greetings in Quang Tri province, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung, together with Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Huynh Thanh Xuan, presented 200 gifts worth 260 million VND to disadvantaged workers in the province.
Speaking at the program, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung sent wishes of health and happiness to union members and workers, in order to successfully complete their tasks in 2025.
The Head of the Central Commission for External Relations affirmed that in the achievements in socio-economic development of the country in general and Quang Tri province in particular in recent times, there have been important contributions from the team of workers and laborers in business units.
Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung hopes that in the coming time, Quang Tri province will continue to pay attention to the regime and policies for workers and laborers as well as promote local economic growth, contributing to creating jobs and increasing income for workers.
Happily receiving a Tet gift from the hands of the Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung, Ms. Vo Thi Thu Hoai - a worker at Quang Tri Trading Company shared that in the days leading up to Tet, her family is having to balance their income and expenses to buy Tet and new clothes for their children, which is very difficult and tiring.
“I was very happy to receive the Tet gifts from the leaders of the Party and State after receiving the notification from the Union. The gifts are really timely and meaningful for us workers,” Ms. Hoai said.
