This morning (November 20), in Hanoi, the Central Commission for External Relations held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
At the Conference, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung presented the Politburo's decision to transfer, assign, and appoint Party Central Committee member, Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Manh Cuong, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations.
Speaking at the Conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung said that Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong is an experienced, capable and professional cadre with more than 20 years of working in the field of foreign affairs and diplomacy, having held many leadership and management positions; holding the position of Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations (since January 2018), participating in the 13th Central Committee, being mobilized and appointed by the Politburo to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and holding the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term (from July 2021) and now returning to work as Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations.
Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Le Hoai Trung believes that with his qualities, abilities, extensive experience and prestige, when returning to work at the Central Commission for External Relations, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Nguyen Manh Cuong will, together with the Board's leadership, officers and civil servants, successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat.
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Nguyen Manh Cuong expressed his joy and emotion at being assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations.
Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations Nguyen Manh Cuong realizes that this is both an honor and a great responsibility and will strive with the leadership of the Central Commission for External Relations and all officers and civil servants of the agency to promote the tradition of solidarity and strive to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, born on October 30, 1973; hometown Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An province; professional qualification: PhD in economics; advanced political theory qualification.
During his career, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong held positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Central Commission for External Relations. From July 2021 until being transferred, assigned, and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations (November 2024), Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong was Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee.
