On October 18, Mr. Pham Van Hien, Legal Consulting Center under the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, said that up to now, 107 workers of Vinh Thong Production - Trading - Service Company Limited, residing in Tan Binh Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City (Vinh Thong Company), have submitted a request to enforce the judgment, forcing the company to pay wages and social insurance (SI) to the workers.
Previously, due to unpaid wages (about 3.1 billion VND) and late payment of social insurance (about 4.8 billion VND), 137 workers of Vinh Thong Company authorized Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union officials to sue the enterprise in court.
During the case handling, the People's Court of Region 9, Ho Chi Minh City issued 118 Decisions recognizing mediation and 19 first instance judgments, requiring Vinh Thong Company to pay all salaries and social insurance for 137 employees.

However, according to the workers' reflection, Vinh Thong Company still did not properly implement the judgments that had come into legal effect, showing signs of deliberate delay, causing great frustration among the workers.
Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation has sent a document to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City directing the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to preside over and coordinate with the City People's Court and the City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department to urge and apply necessary measures to speed up the progress of organizing the enforcement of judgments for 137 judgments and decisions that have come into effect, forcing Vinh Thong Company to completely pay the debts to these workers.
