On October 18, the Trade Union of Gia Lai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited said that in the 2023 - 2025 term, all union members and employees of the company will be guaranteed jobs, without any production interruptions or job losses.
The People's Committee of Gia Lai province assigned the company in charge of irrigation exploitation and irrigation systems for more than 31,399 hectares of agricultural land. The company's revenue will reach 37.36 billion VND (2023), 35.36 billion VND (2024) and is expected to be 37.48 billion VND (2025).
According to the grassroots Trade Union, despite many difficulties in life and working conditions, the company's staff, union members and workers are still confident in their work, actively creative, and have many initiatives to improve technical efficiency in project management and operation, contributing to improving productivity and serving agricultural irrigation well.
The payment of wages to employees over the years has been maintained stably, on time, and without interruption. Although the salary is not high compared to other sectors, it still ensures the basic living standard for workers and their families.
The current average income of workers is about 7.1 million VND/month. The company fully implements social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance regimes.
By 2025, the company will have a total of 316 union members and workers, of which Kinh ethnic group: 259 people, ethnic minority group: 57 people.
The grassroots trade union regularly propagates to union members and workers to strictly comply with the Law on Road Traffic Safety; disseminates the provisions of the Labor Law, the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law, and the Irrigation Law.
At the same time, it will strengthen the explanation and dissemination of policies related to employees such as salary scales, labor regulations, collective labor agreements and company regulations.
In the coming time, the Trade Union of Gia Lai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited will continue to mobilize and propagate union members and workers to promote a sense of responsibility, complete professional tasks well, and contribute to the completion of the targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the company.
