On June 4, the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to honor 141 outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing Directive 05-CT/TW on "Promoting the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" and the emulation movement "Good at public work, good at home work" in 2024.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Son Hung - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Vu Thi Giang Huong - Head of the Propaganda - Women's Union (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) attended the conference.
Conference to reward the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW for 26 collectives and 45 individuals; Reward the emulation movement for 2 good people for 25 collectives and 45 individuals.
According to the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, the emulation movement, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has created many good models and good practices such as: Workers' Meeting Point; Dong Nai Provincial Workers' and Civil Servants' Sports Festival; Cultural and Sports Festival of civil servants and public employees in agencies and units; Union Meal; Collective wedding ceremony; Union Bookcase - Uncle Ho's School; Savings Pork - Sharing Love...
Regarding the initiative, a trade union legal consulting group was also established to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities, contributing to limiting complaints, questions, and labor disputes arising in enterprises.
Through emulation movements, the whole province has 281 topics, nearly 4,600 technical innovation initiatives, more than 21,000 production ideas from workers, bringing in a profit of nearly 240 billion VND. Trade unions at all levels have honored 3,215 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y - President of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor said that female workers in Dong Nai (accounting for over 60%) have become a force with significant contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
In 2024, from the achievements in the emulation movement, 683 collectives and 191,059 women were recognized as having achieved the title of "Good at public work, good at home work" at all levels. Of which, 85 collectives and 16,100 individuals were awarded at the grassroots level.
In 2024, over 100,000 employees with high academic achievements were commended by trade unions at all levels in the province.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the typical examples and requested that grassroots union chairmen and union leaders at all levels continue to actively spread with developing enterprises.
