At the first working session, the Congress introduced delegates; elected the Presidium, the Secretariat and the Appraisal Board for delegate status, and voted to recognize delegate status. At the same time, the Congress approved the program, regulations and working regulations.
The Congress also listened to a report on the results of the examination of delegate status; a report summarizing opinions, amendments and supplements to the draft Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; a report on the review of the Executive Committee of the Son La Provincial Labor Federation of the XV term submitted to the XVI Congress and summarized opinions participating in the documents of the XIV Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
One of the key contents of the working session is to proceed with the approval of the personnel project, elect the Executive Committee of the Son La Provincial Labor Federation, term XVI, term 2025-2030; elect delegates to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
The working session also spent time for delegates to discuss and contribute opinions to the contents submitted to the Congress; and at the same time disseminate and thoroughly grasp some contents related to the preparation for the solemn session taking place on the morning of December 29.
According to the plan, with the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the XVI Son La Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 will officially open solemnly on the morning of December 29.
