After more than 2 months of competition, the qualifying round of the 2024 Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament has determined 16 teams to participate in the final round taking place in Hanoi from November 1-3 at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
According to the tournament rules, in the national finals, teams will compete in a round robin in 4 groups, selecting the 4 first-place teams and 4 second-place teams to compete in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place match and final.
Results of the national final round draw on the morning of October 25: Group A: Hanoi Trade Union 1, An Nguyen Bao, Khanh Hoa Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2;
Group B: Binh Duong Post Insurance, Dong Thap Trade Union, Hai Phong Trade Union, Gia Lai Trade Union;
Group C: Dong Nai 1 Trade Union, Quang Nam Trade Union, Binh Duong 2 Trade Union, Quang Ninh Trade Union;
Group D: Nghe An Trade Union, Bank Trade Union, Ben Tre Trade Union, Sacombank Binh Duong.
After the drawing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kien - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, on behalf of the organizing committee, answered questions from the teams participating in the final round; at the same time, disseminated the new regulations and the support of the organizing committee to the teams. The organizing committee and the teams are determined to work together for a successful, attractive and meaningful final round for the lives of workers and civil servants nationwide.
The national final round of the 2024 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament will take place over 3 days from November 1 to 3 at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The total prize of the 2024 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is up to 930 million VND. Of which, the national final champion team will receive 150 million VND.
