The 15th Congress of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, term 2025-2030, took place on the afternoon of December 25, in Hanoi. There will be 285 official delegates attending the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union.

The 15th Congress of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union is tasked with objectively and comprehensively assessing the achieved results and at the same time pointing out the shortcomings, limitations and drawing lessons in implementing the Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Transport Trade Union for the 2023 - 2028 term (2025); identifying goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; reviewing the leadership and direction of the 14th Executive Committee of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union; announcing the decision to appoint the 15th Executive Committee of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union and the delegation to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The Congress was held with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".
619 enterprises sign collective labor agreements
Currently, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union is managing 130,168 union members out of a total of 133,790 employees, including 34,876 female union members, accounting for 26.8%.
In terms of quality, currently, the proportion of trained construction workers accounts for about 78.7%. Faced with the increasingly high requirements and demands of industrialization and modernization, the rapid development of science and technology and strong changes in market mechanisms, construction workers are striving to study, master modern and advanced science and technology, to increasingly meet the development needs of the industry.
Regarding employment, units and enterprises in the industry always try to maintain good production and business activities, ensuring jobs for workers; most of workers in the industry have stable jobs, average income of 13.6 million VND/person/month, an increase of 19.2% compared to the beginning of the term....
The Vietnam Construction Trade Union regularly directs and urges trade unions at all levels to coordinate with the professional sector to effectively implement grassroots democracy regulations, therefore, every year, 100% of administrative agencies and public service units have held CBCC conferences; over 80% of enterprises organize labor conferences; organize 1,721 dialogues at the workplace.
Continue to effectively implement the work of reviewing, amending, supplementing and negotiating and signing new collective labor agreements with many more beneficial provisions for union members. According to the reports of the units, 619 enterprises have signed collective labor agreements; of which 100% of collective labor agreements have at least 3 contents that are more beneficial to employees than those prescribed by law.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year, implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in coordination with the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, regularly organize working groups to visit and give gifts directly to union members and workers on the occasion of Tet; direct, urge and guide trade unions at all levels to coordinate with the professional community to organize practical activities to care for union members, not letting any workers go without Tet.
In the past 3 years, on the occasion of Tet, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union has presented gifts to 131 collectives and 24,301 individuals, especially union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of VND 21.888 billion; affiliated units have organized care for 162,673 union members and workers with a total amount of VND 284.137 billion; organized bus trips or supported tickets and trains for 3,842 union members and workers to return home for Tet...
Continuing to implement Resolution 7c/NQ-BCH dated February 25, 2016 and Conclusion No. 03/KL-BCH dated January 18, 2022 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Quality of shift meals for workers", the Vietnam Construction Trade Union regularly directs and guides trade unions at all levels to coordinate with the professional organization to organize shift meals for workers to ensure quality and food safety.
Specific results show that 87.7% of units and enterprises have organized shift meals for employees at an average rate of VND18,000/meal or more; especially implemented the signing of many collective labor agreements with content related to shift meals, negotiated with employers at 128 units to increase the value of shift meals for employees to a higher level...
