Attending the session early, Ms. Nguyen Thi Khanh Huyen (19 years old, first-year student majoring in Multimedia Communications, Dai Nam University) shared that the main purpose of participating is to find opportunities to rub shoulders with a real career.
According to Ms. Huyen, her goal is to work in the event organizing or professional filmmaking industry. "I prioritize finding an environment that creates conditions for first-year students to experience reality through projects on social networks. I am willing to try new fields such as advertising or livestreaming to create dynamism. Instead of expecting an ideal salary, I want to find a stable place to maximize my creativity," Ms. Huyen said.
Also at the session, Mr. Le Van Hoan (20 years old, second-year student majoring in Hotel and Tourism Management, Dai Nam University) said he wanted to find job opportunities from basic positions to understand the actual operating process of businesses.

Sharing about career orientation, Mr. Hoan said: "With experience working at restaurants since 11th grade, I want to find a job in the right industry such as tour business or hotel personnel. I set a goal to start from the employee position to train, laying the foundation for advancing to management and supervision levels later. With an expected salary of 9-10 million VND/month, I am actively improving my English and preparing to take the TOEIC certificate exam to best meet the requirements from large recruitment units.

Participating in the job transaction session on April 9, Ms. Pham Thi Hoai - representative of Brother Vietnam Industry Co., Ltd. (Phuc Dien Industrial Park, Hai Phong) said that the enterprise is promoting recruitment plans for many positions, from unskilled workers to personnel in the economic, foreign language and technical fields. In which, focusing on recruiting a large number of engineers, graduates in technical majors, to meet the requirements of modernizing production and strengthening the application of high technology in the production line.

According to Ms. Hoai, the company has programs for new graduates and students participating in internships and practical experiences at businesses. Students experiencing for 3 months or more are supported from 8 million - 10 million VND/month, participating in knowledge training programs from professional teams.

Speaking at the session, Mr. Nguyen Tay Nam - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Home Affairs - said that with the goal of creating jobs for 171,000 workers and keeping the urban unemployment rate below 3%, the Department of Home Affairs has proactively coordinated with levels and sectors to synchronously implement many solutions to strengthen supply-demand connections and support sustainable career change. As a result, in the first quarter of 2026, the City created jobs for nearly 49,928 workers, reaching more than 29.19% of the annual plan.
According to the Hanoi Employment Service Center, the job transaction session on April 9 had 2,708 recruitment and enrollment targets. The demand for labor with college and university degrees or higher is 1,193; the demand for labor with intermediate level, technical workers is 864; the demand for general labor is 651.
Regarding income, there are 541 targets from 15 million VND/month or more; income from 10-15 million VND/month is 661; from 7-10 million VND/month is 851 and from 5-7 million VND/month is 484.
Regarding age groups, there are 1,701 targets for the age group from 30 and below; 641 targets for the age group from 31-40; 356 targets for the age group from 41-50 and 10 targets for the age group from 51-60 years old.
