On January 12, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the program "Online Trade Union Tet Market 2025" (Program) organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will continue to be held. This is one of the activities applying information technology to practically care for the lives of union members and workers.
The program officially opens from 0:00 on December 20, 2024 to 24:00 on January 20, 2025 (ie from November 20 to December 21, 2024), with more than 1,900 essential items, with preferential prices reduced from 10% to 60%.
According to initial statistics, to date, more than 125,000 units and employees have successfully purchased goods, reaching nearly 70% of the total number of registered units and employees. The program creates a modern, time-saving shopping space, especially suitable for busy units and employees.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha said that, in addition to the achieved results, the implementation of the Program still has some arising problems and limitations such as some localities and units do not send enough units and employees to be supported according to the allocation; the number of units and employees with incorrect information is still large, leading to not purchasing goods; many units and employees cancel orders after successfully purchasing; unable to contact delivery staff; the number of successfully delivered and under-delivered goods is only about 60%; some errors arise such as website access overload in the first days, duplicates, errors, data loss, duplicate orders, unable to log in to accounts, locked accounts, accounts without information, orders are automatically canceled or canceled by the seller, etc.
From now until the Program stops operating, there is only more than 1 week left. The Organizing Committee notes 8 issues for employees and workers:
1. Union members cancel orders that have successfully used vouchers: The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will reissue vouchers at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. However, union members must not cancel orders that have used vouchers. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will not reissue vouchers if union members continue to cancel orders after 12:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
2. Seller cancels order: The order will be restored and delivery will continue. If it cannot be restored, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will reissue the voucher. For orders canceled before 12:00 on January 7, 2025, it will be reissued from 12:00 on January 7, 2025. For orders canceled after January 7, 2025, it will be reissued 12 hours after the seller cancels the order.
3. Lost - unable to view information about the order of a member who successfully used a voucher to purchase Omeili products from December 20 to 27, 2024: The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will reissue the voucher from 12:00 on January 7, 2025. The member will repurchase Omeili products.
4. Do not update the order status in the order management section for orders that have used successful Elmich vouchers. According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, this does not affect the delivery of successfully purchased goods. The Elmich supplier will contact and confirm the order status directly with the union member.
5. Unable to log in to the order management account or the order management account is deactivated or customer information cannot be found. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will reopen from 12:00 on January 7, 2025. Note that if the order has been confirmed by the seller before the lock, the goods will be delivered normally. If the order has not been confirmed by the seller before the lock, the order will not be delivered, and the union member will make a purchase again.
6. For union officials who have sent their lists to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor but have not purchased goods during the period from December 18 to 19, 2024, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will reissue vouchers from 12:00 on January 7, 2025. Note that this applies to union officials who have sent their lists to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor from December 31, 2024 or earlier. Other cases will be issued vouchers to purchase at 12:00 on January 10, 2025.
7. For new members beyond the quota allocated to local units, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will issue vouchers from 12:00 on January 7, 2025. Applicable to members who have submitted their list to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor from December 31, 2024 or earlier. The remaining cases will be issued vouchers to purchase at 12:00 on January 10, 2025.
8. For union members and trade union officials who correct and replace their information with new people, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will issue vouchers at 12:00 on January 9, 2025, applicable to union members and trade union officials who have submitted their lists to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor from December 31, 2024 or earlier. The remaining cases will be issued vouchers to purchase at 12:00 on January 11, 2025.
