On June 14, the Dong Nai City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) opened the qualifying round of the city's workers, civil servants, and laborers' football tournament, which took place simultaneously in 4 areas with 88 participating teams, competing in a total of 197 matches.
Accordingly, the qualifying round is divided into 4 regions according to the current decentralization of the City Labor Federation. At the end of the qualifying round, each region will take 4 teams with the highest achievements to compete in the final round.
Area 1 includes grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) belonging to area 1 and commune, ward, CĐCS trade unions in Bien Hoa ward, Tran Bien ward, Tam Hiep ward, Long Binh ward, Trang Dai ward, Ho Nai ward, Long Hung ward, Phuoc Tan ward, Tam Phuoc ward.
Area 2 includes grassroots trade unions belonging to area 2 and commune and ward trade unions, grassroots trade unions in Tan Trieu ward, Trang Bom ward, Long Khanh ward, Xuan Loc ward, Dinh Quan commune, Tan An commune.
Area 3 includes grassroots trade unions belonging to area 3 and commune and ward trade unions, grassroots trade unions in Long Thanh ward, Nhon Trach ward.
Area 4 includes grassroots trade unions belonging to area 4 and commune and ward trade unions, grassroots trade unions in Binh Phuoc ward, Chon Thanh ward, Dong Xoai ward, Phuoc Binh ward, Loc Ninh ward, Dong Phu ward, Bu Dang commune.
The matches of Zone 1 take place at Thanh Binh football field, Tam Hiep ward with the participation of 27 teams; Zone 2 takes place at Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. football field, Trang Bom ward with the participation of 20 teams; Zone 3 takes place at Cuong Thinh football field, Long Thanh ward with the participation of 20 teams and Zone 4 takes place at Hoa Phat football field, Bao Minh football field in Chon Thanh ward with the participation of 21 teams.
The closing ceremony takes place from July 19 to July 26.
According to Vice Chairman of Dong Nai City Labor Federation Bui Thi Bich Thuy, this is a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 1st Dong Nai Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030 and to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031.
