According to the plan, on June 12, the Dong Nai City Construction Investment Project Management Board will organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the Long Binh rental housing project (phase 1) in Long Binh ward.
According to the investment policy approval decision of Dong Nai City People's Committee: Long Binh rental housing project is built on a land area of about 1.52ha in Long Binh ward, an area concentrated with many large industrial parks such as: Amata, Agtex Long Binh, Bien Hoa 2 and Ho Nai.
Phase 1 of the project includes a 20-story apartment building with a scale of about 1,000 apartments, with diverse areas from 34-63m2, suitable for the needs of many different target groups.
The total investment of the project is about 1,361 billion VND from the city budget.
With this project, people and workers can rent long-term housing at an affordable cost. Not only housing, the project is also built synchronously with technical infrastructure and internal amenities such as: parking lot, community living area, green trees, fire prevention and fighting system, electricity supply, water supply and drainage, communication and other auxiliary works.
When completed, the project will provide housing for thousands of people, mainly workers, low-income workers and subjects eligible for social housing support policies according to regulations.
Dong Nai is a key industrial area in the South and the whole country. Currently, the city has established 58 industrial parks, 1 economic zone and dozens of industrial clusters.
Strong industrial development leads to a very large demand for housing for the labor force. According to statistics from the construction industry in 2025, the total housing demand in Dong Nai city is about 600,000-650,000 people, equivalent to 150,000-160,000 social housing units. Of which, about 70% of the demand belongs to workers and laborers working in industrial parks.
