New salary scale expected from 1.7 for cadres and civil servants

    Below is the new salary scale expected from July for cadres and civil servants.

    Currently, the base salary is 2.34 million VND/month (according to the provisions of Article 3 of Decree 73/2024/ND-CP). With an expected increase of 8%, the base salary will increase to 2,527,200 VND/month from July 1, 2026.

    According to the provisions of Circular 07/2024/TT-BNV, the salary scale for cadres and civil servants is calculated according to the formula:

    Salary = Salary coefficient x Base salary.

    Accordingly, the new salary scale from July 1, 2026 for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces will be calculated according to the base salary of 2,527,200 VND/month and the salary coefficient specified in Decree 204/2004/ND-CP.

    Based on Circular 07/2024/TT-BNV, Decree 204/2004/ND-CP, the new salary scale is expected from July 1, 2026 for cadres and civil servants as follows:
