Mr. Nguyen Van Huan - Party Committee Secretary, Director of Tay Ninh Social Insurance chaired and led the departments and social insurance of the facilities.
According to the report, by the end of August 2025, the whole province had nearly 651,000 social insurance participants, more than 605,000 unemployment insurance participants and over 2.95 million health insurance participants, reaching 97.17% of the population. Notably, the number of people participating in compulsory social insurance in August increased by nearly 10,000 compared to the previous month. Total social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance revenue in the first 8 months of the year reached over VND 11,707 billion, an increase of over VND 1,600 billion over the same period in 2024.
The payment of benefits continues to be carried out promptly and safely. The provincial Social Insurance has resolved nearly 400,000 beneficiaries of the regimes, of which the rate of receiving pensions and benefits through personal accounts reached more than 78%, with the one-time social insurance regime and unemployment benefits through accounts reaching over 99%, exceeding the set target.
At the conference, many opinions focused on developing participants in voluntary social insurance, household health insurance and student health insurance. The solutions emphasized are to increase communication and dialogue, while coordinating with local authorities to improve the Steering Committee for Social Insurance and Health Insurance policies to improve the effectiveness of the campaign.
Concluding the conference, Director of the Provincial Social Insurance Nguyen Van Huan acknowledged the efforts of the entire industry and requested units to continue to innovate their working methods and expand the coverage of social insurance and health insurance. One of the emphasized focuses is to mobilize people to receive pensions and subsidies through personal accounts, both ensuring safety, transparency and in line with digital transformation trends in the field of social security.
