The 19th Corps currently has more than 9,100 union members working in member units.
In the 2023-2025 period, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Corps Command and political agencies, the PTCN&HDDDD has a comprehensive and clear development in terms of organization, content and methods of operation; contributing to building a clean and strong Party Committee, a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical".
In 2 years, the entire Corps had 51 collective topics and solutions and 122 individual initiatives that were effectively applied; 9 initiatives were recognized by the Ministry of National Defense, bringing a value of more than 96 billion VND.
Many collectives and individuals were commended and rewarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the General Department of Politics and the Corps.
Grassroots trade unions at the units also focus on taking care of the material and spiritual lives of cadres, union members and workers through many practical activities.
From 2023 to present, the units have supported the construction of 46 new houses, repaired 5 houses for workers; visited and presented gifts to workers with serious illnesses and work-related accidents; rewarded students with good achievements... with a total cost of nearly 25 billion VND.
At the conference, delegates discussed and agreed on the goals, tasks, breakthroughs and key solutions for the 2025-2030 period. In which, it emphasized: strengthening the leadership and direction of Party committees, commanders and political agencies; focusing on political and ideological education, building the will of the working class; improving professional qualifications, mastering technology, applying artificial intelligence; promoting emulation movements of trade unions associated with the Emulation movement of the Victory and campaigns of the Party, State and Army; implementing well the grassroots democracy regulations; caring for and ensuring the rights of workers; building a strong trade union organization.
With the slogan of action: " Loyalty, courage - Democracy, intelligence - Dedication, affection, and honor of Uncle Ho's soldiers", the conference set many important targets for the coming period: 100% of grassroots trade unions perform well in propaganda and education work; Over 80% of grassroots trade unions complete their tasks well and excellently.
Each grassroots union has at least 5% of union members trained in Party awareness and 3% of outstanding union members admitted to the Party; 100% of union organizations have implemented emulation movements well; 100% of units have technical innovation initiatives, rationalization in production, business and military and defense tasks.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the 19th Corps appointed personnel for the delegation of 13 comrades to attend the 11th Congress of the Military Trade Union.
