The Congress was attended by Ms. Le Thi Net - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Van Don Special Zone Trade Union; Company leaders and all union members.
During the past term, under the leadership of the Party Cell and the support of the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of Van Don Special Zone, the Company's trade union activities have achieved many outstanding results.
The work of building the organization was focused on, developing 98 union members, maintaining a lifestyle associated with professional tasks; union officials were fully trained and coached.
Trade unions play a good role in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers: coordinating the implementation of collective labor agreements, implementing grassroots democracy regulations, organizing annual workers' conferences; supervising salary, bonus, insurance, leave, overtime and labor safety regimes.
Many cultural and sports activities are held on major holidays such as March 8 and October 20 with a total cost of 68.7 million VND; Children's Tet, Mid-Autumn Festival with a total cost of 42.5 million VND; football, tug of war, and art exchanges with the participation of 52 union members and workers. Every year, many collectives and individuals are commended and rewarded in the labor emulation movement.
At the Congress, delegates agreed on the goal for the 2025-2030 term: improving the quality of trade union activities; innovating methods of operation; enhancing the application of digital technology in union member management and communication; promoting emulation associated with production and business tasks; fostering a team of capable and dedicated trade union officials; building a strong and comprehensive grassroots trade union.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Net, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Van Don Special Zone Trade Union, acknowledged the results achieved by the Company's Trade Union, and at the same time suggested continuing to closely follow the direction of the Party Committee; promoting propaganda and mobilizing workers to comply with labor regulations; paying attention to developing union members; proactively grasping the situation to better protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers; improving working conditions and applying information technology and artificial intelligence in trade union activities.
The Congress elected 7 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Company, term VII, 2025-2030.
