The Congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu - Vice Chairman of TKV Trade Union; representative of Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Pham Hong Thanh - Party Secretary, Director of the Company and 150 delegates, representing more than 1,270 union members and workers in the entire Company.
In the 2023-2025 period, in the context of many challenges in coal production and consumption, the Company's Trade Union has closely coordinated with the professional sector to synchronously implement solutions to stabilize jobs, ensure income and improve the lives of workers.
The average income of workers and laborers reached 13.9 - 15.1 million VND/person/month, an increase compared to the previous period; most of the Resolution's targets were achieved and exceeded.
From the Trade Union Shelter Fund, in the past term, the Trade Union supported 12 families to build new houses and 3 families to repair houses with a total cost of 970 million VND; supported 100 million VND to build new houses for 1 policy family.
The whole company has had 145 initiatives applied to production, generating a profit of more than 13 billion VND; the "1 million initiatives" program alone has 57 initiatives.
Labor safety and hygiene work has been regularly deployed; thousands of recommendations from the occupational safety and health network have been received and processed promptly, contributing to minimizing the risk of unsafety.
During the term, the Union admitted 48 new union members; introduced 59 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 43 comrades have been admitted to the Party. Over 90% of the Trade Union and Departmental Trade Unions have completed their tasks well; many collectives and individuals have received awards from the TKV Trade Union and the Provincial Federation of Labor.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of XXXIV Company Limited, consisting of 11 comrades; elected 4 delegates to attend the Congress of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union.
On this occasion, TKV Trade Union awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 members of the Executive Committee of the XXIII course with outstanding achievements in not participating in the new course; Company Trade Union commended 19 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization in the period of 2023-2025.
