On the afternoon of October 6, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to review trade union work in the first 9 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 3 months of 2025.
In the first 9 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province admitted 908 new union members and established 19 new grassroots trade unions. Currently, the whole province has 46,146 union members. Trade unions at all levels in the province have proactively coordinated with authorities, units and enterprises to organize many activities to care for the lives, material and spiritual needs of workers and laborers and fully and promptly implement the regimes, policies, salaries and bonuses for union members and laborers.
Trade unions at all levels actively mobilized union members and workers to respond and contribute to the support fund for union members in difficult circumstances with the amount of 1.6 billion VND, reaching 50.92% of the resolution target; consider supporting 53 houses for union members in difficult housing circumstances with a total support amount of 2.3 billion VND.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has launched a patriotic emulation movement in 2025 and a special emulation campaign to achieve achievements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 1st Provincial Party Congress. Up to now, 35 union-name projects have been registered by grassroots unions; 15 projects and projects have been completed, with a value of 180 million VND.
In the last 3 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province will prepare conditions to organize Trade Union Congresses at all levels towards the 1st Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Continue to pay attention to caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. Organize training on trade union work for newly established commune and ward trade union officials. Organize the Forum "Party with workers - Workers with the Party". Strengthen, improve, maintain and improve the quality of the mass Women's Union in newly established commune and ward unions.
