Article 24 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants stipulates the civil servant ranks and the classification of civil servants as follows:
1. Civil servant ranks are arranged according to professional qualifications and skills, including:
a) Senior expert;
b) Senior expert and equivalent;
c) Main specialist and equivalent;
d) Specialist and equivalent;
d) Cadres and equivalent;
e) Employees.
2. The civil servant ranking corresponding to the job position is carried out in the following cases:
a) People recruited to the job position;
b) Civil servants appointed to leadership or management positions or assigned to a job position where the job position is classified as a civil servant rank corresponding to the civil servant rank they are holding.
3. The civil servant ranking must be consistent with the ratio of civil servants that need to be arranged according to each job position in the civil servant employing agency according to Government regulations.
Thus, the civil servant ranking corresponding to the job position is carried out in 2 cases, at the same time, the civil servant ranking must be consistent with the ratio of civil servants that need to be arranged for each job position in the civil servant employment agency according to Government regulations.
