Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu chaired and directly delivered the training course.
Attending the class were deputy heads of the Propaganda Department, officers directly implementing communication work; social network account administrators, content editors of trade union websites of 63 provincial and municipal labor federations, 19 central and equivalent industry trade unions, and trade unions of corporations under the General Confederation.
The training content includes 3 topics: New thinking about Trade Union communication; Oral propaganda skills and handling media crisis, event management skills; Skills to manage and operate the content of the electronic information page and Trade Union social network accounts. In addition, trainees are also instructed on how to use technological equipment to produce multimedia communication products...
The training course aims to equip knowledge and skills for the team of leaders and staff directly advising on communication work of the Trade Union organization, contributing to improving the effectiveness of trade union propaganda work in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The speakers at the training and refresher courses are experts and managers with extensive experience in communications, workers and unions.
Speaking here, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized that for the Vietnam Trade Union, communication not only promotes the development of the organization but also brings Trade Union activities to workers; listens to and grasps public opinion among union members and workers towards the Trade Union organization. The increasing demand of union members and workers to access more information through many channels requires Trade Union officials to improve their capacity in communication work.
