In this decision, 130 cadres, civil servants and public employees are supported with funding to attract, train and foster according to the province's policies with a total budget of more than 3.1 billion VND.
Of which, there are 5 cases of masters, residents, and general practitioners recruited to work at public health service units; 44 cases of health service officials sent for postgraduate training; 81 cases of female cadres and civil servants sent for training and fostering.
According to the Department of Health of Quang Tri province, 44 cases of health workers receiving training funding were sent to school from 2022 to 2024.
Currently, the provincial health sector still has 63 cases of health workers sent to school before 2022 who have not been supported with training funding. In particular, many cases have been "borrowed" training costs for many years, falling into a difficult situation because they had to borrow money to go to school before.
Mr. Do Van Hung - Director of the Department of Health of Quang Tri province said that under the direction of superiors, the unit is advising on the development of a separate resolution to support more than 60 cases of health workers who have been sent to school before.
"We are advising on the issuance of a separate resolution to support these cases" - Mr. Do Van Hung said.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper had many articles and information in Quang Tri, there were many cases of doctors and nurses being sent for training and improving their skills to serve medical examination and treatment in the locality. Doctors sent to study will be supported according to Resolution No. 09/2017 regulating policies on training, fostering, treatment, attracting and creating quality human resources when completing the course.
Many cases are sent to study in difficult circumstances, while studying abroad for a long time, so they have to borrow from banks to cover expenses. However, when completing the course, he has not yet received tuition support.
The Department of Health of Quang Tri province determined that there were 63 cases sent to school, with the right subjects and conditions supported according to the provisions of Resolution No. 09/2017, but due to not ensuring the validity of the Resolution, they have not been supported.
In the inspection report of the Committee for Culture and Society submitted to the 28th session of the People's Council of Quang Tri province on December 3, 2024, the Committee for Culture and Society requested the People's Committee of Quang Tri province to promptly direct the professional sector to advise on the settlement of the postgraduate training support regime for cases sent to study but have many objective and subjective reasons, and have not yet enjoyed the province's training support policy.
