Attending the conference were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Mai Van Tuat - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, along with representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches of the province and nearly 200 union members and workers in Ninh Binh province.
2025 marks an important turning point when the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation officially operates under a new model from July 1, 2025, on the basis of merging the Labor Federations of 3 provinces Ha Nam, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh.
Although going through a period of consolidating the apparatus, the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers in Ninh Binh province has still achieved many comprehensive results, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Trade union levels have widely deployed many practical emulation movements, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate. Typical examples include the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" emulation movement with thousands of initiatives applied to production, bringing high economic efficiency; the "Good at state affairs, good at housework" movement...
Through patriotic emulation movements in 2025, in the entire Ninh Binh Provincial Trade Union system, 103 collectives and 573 individuals were commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee and the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation with a total commendation budget of over 2 billion VND.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu highly appreciated the results achieved in the emulation movement of trade union levels in Ninh Binh province.
To make the emulation movement in the coming time deeper and more substantive, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu suggested and requested trade union levels in Ninh Binh province to constantly innovate and raise awareness of the value of emulation.
Each unit needs to have its own way of doing things, suitable to the reality of each business to arouse the creative spirit of union members and workers. In particular, the Trade Union needs to proactively coordinate with business owners to mobilize resources and have a worthy reward regime for initiatives that bring high value and productivity. At the same time, it is necessary to promote the application of science and technology and continuously improve initiatives.
Regarding the long-term orientation, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu said that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is studying to transform the emulation movement's goals from "Good labor, creative labor" to the focus being "Good labor, high productivity". This affirms that the ultimate goal of emulation is to create practical product value, contributing to building a developed, prosperous and happy country.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu also expressed his expectation that the workers' movement and trade union activities in Ninh Binh will continue to achieve many achievements, responding to the concern and expectations of Party committees, authorities and people in the province.
On this occasion, 142 collectives and individuals were awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 31 collectives and individuals were awarded Emulation Flags by the Ninh Binh Provincial Confederation of Labor.
