On May 13, at the Hall of the Soc Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure and Service Center (An Ninh commune), the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a training conference on occupational safety and health (ATVSLĐ) in 2026 for 100 trade union officials in charge of occupational safety and health.
The goal is to improve the operational skills of trade union officials working in OSH and the network of OSH workers at the grassroots level, the tasks of grassroots trade unions in OSH work, safety measures, and workers' health in production.
Raising awareness and responsibility of employers and employees towards OSH work, thereby helping businesses better understand the regulations on OSH work.
On May 13 and 14, trainees were deployed with the following contents: Policy and laws on OSH; Organization of management and operation of the OSH network; Dangerous and harmful factors and preventive measures; Practical first aid operations.
Ms. Tran Tu Nhien - Vice Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed that trainees seriously absorb the training content, apply it appropriately to practice at the grassroots level; promote the role of the Trade Union organization in propaganda, supervision, and coordination with employers to well implement regulations on OSH.
Thereby, contributing to preventing labor accidents, occupational diseases, protecting workers' health, and building a safe and stable working environment.
Previously, on May 11 and 12, the Can Tho City Labor Federation organized a OSH training conference at the Hall of the Can Tho City Labor Culture House with about 100 trade union officials participating.
