After the merger into Ho Chi Minh City, 6 commune-level administrative units were established in the old Chau Duc district (under the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). Of which, only 2 units of Ngai Giao commune and Nghia Thanh commune are eligible to establish a commune union.
Grassroots trade unions (CDCS) and union members in communes that are not eligible to establish Commune Trade Unions are assigned to the above 2 commune-level trade unions to be in charge of: Kim Long commune (including 4 grassroots trade unions with 121 union members); Chau Duc commune (1 grassroots trade union with 26 union members); Binh Gia commune (4 grassroots trade unions with 339 union members); Xuan Son commune (5 grassroots trade unions with 163 union members).
Details of the two commune and ward trade unions established in the old Chau Duc district, now under Ho Chi Minh City are as follows:
Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union (in charge of additional areas of Kim Long and Chau Duc communes): 36 grassroots trade unions and 5,827 union members.
Nghia Thanh Commune Trade Union (in charge of Binh Gia and Xuan Son communes): 32 grassroots trade unions and 9,417 union members.
After the merger, 6 commune-level administrative units were established in the old Xuyen Moc district (under the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). Of which, only 1 administrative unit of Ho Tram commune is eligible to establish a commune union.
The grassroots unions and union members in communes that are not eligible to establish commune unions are assigned to the Ho Tram Commune Trade Union to manage, including: Xuyen Moc Commune (2 grassroots unions with 428 union members); Binh Chau Commune (6 grassroots unions with 612 union members); Hoa Hiep Commune (2 grassroots unions with 149 union members); Bau Lam Commune (2 grassroots unions with 31 union members); Hoa Hoi Commune (4 grassroots unions with 324 union members).
Thus, Ho Tram Commune Trade Union (in charge of the above 5 communes): 47 grassroots trade unions and 5,873 union members.
