Local people said that at that time, the couple was riding a motorbike on National Highway 1A, heading from Ca Mau province to the center of Cai Nuoc commune. When arriving at the above location, the motorbike slightly collided with another motorbike, causing both of them to fall onto the road.
At this moment, a truck carrying shrimp traveling in the opposite direction ran over the woman, causing the victim to die on the spot. The unidentified man was dragged under the truck and dragged a section of the national highway before the truck caught fire fiercely.
