New regulations on the development and use of the List of medical supplies covered by health insurance
On June 30, 2025, the Minister of Health issued Circular No. 24/2025/TT-BY Ts amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 04/2017/TT-BYT dated April 14, 2017 of the Minister of Health promulgating the List and rates, payment conditions for medical supplies under the scope of benefits of health insurance participants. This Circular takes effect from September 1, 2025.
From September 1, 2025, the National University will be directly managed by the Ministry of Education and Training
On July 11, 2025, the Government issued Decree 201/2025/ND-CP (effective from September 1, 2025) stipulating the functions, tasks and powers of national universities.
Specifically, Article 2 of Decree 201/2025/ND-CP stipulates the position and functions of national universities as follows:
National universities are public higher education institutions managed by the Ministry of Education and Training, with legal status, separate accounts and the use of seals with the National emblem.
National universities have the function of training in university education, scientific research and technology transfer in many majors and fields of high quality; have some leading training fields in the country and are highly ranked in the world.
National universities are under the state management of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, other ministries and branches and People's Committees at all levels where the national universities are headquartered according to the provisions of law.
Minimum area of subject classrooms from September 2, 2025
The Minister of Education and Training issued Circular No. 14/2025/TT-BGDDT amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulations on subject classrooms of general education institutions issued with Circular No. 14/2020/TT-BGDDT dated May 26, 2020 of the Minister of Education and Training. The Circular takes effect from September 2, 2025.
Accordingly, the minimum working area of a subject classroom is calculated based on the minimum working area for one student. In which:
(i) Primary school
For the IT and Foreign Language classrooms, the minimum working area for a student is 1.50m2 and each classroom has an area of no less than 50m2.
For the classroom majoring in Science - Technology, Music, and Fine Arts, the minimum working area for a student is 1.85m2 and each classroom has an area of no less than 60m2.
(ii) High school
For the classroom of Natural Sciences, Informatics, and Foreign Languages, the minimum working area for a student is 1.85m2 and each classroom has an area of no less than 60m2.
For the Technology, Music, and Fine Arts classroom, the minimum working area for a student is 2.25m2 and each classroom has an area of no more than 60m2.
Social Science classrooms (commonly used for the subjects of Civic Education, History and Geography), the minimum working area for a student is 1.50m2 and each classroom has an area of no less than 60m2...
