Before becoming a Party member, Mr. Tran Duy Do was a typical worker with good professional qualifications. During his time working at Long Yu Vietnam Co., Ltd., Mr. Do has contributed dozens of technical innovation initiatives. In particular, many initiatives and creations of Mr. Do help the assembly of shirt locks and pants become faster and more aesthetic; Improving sewing operations for workers helps shorten sewing time, increase labor productivity...
In 2023, Mr. Do had an initiative to control production line incidents, using glue coil to sewing Jacket and cotton T-shirts; used to increase productivity, helping to make a profit of 135 million VND/year.
By 2024, Mr. Do will continue to have the initiative to use sewing lines ( formats placed in sewing machines), helping to increase work productivity, sewing lines are more even and beautiful, shortening many complicated stages in the sewing process.
The initiative to block the stunt leader from increasing the stunt speed, lining a needle with a machine, contributes to reducing the number of people standing on the machine from 8 people to just 2 people, and at the same time reducing 90 seconds for each product. It turns out that with each product code of over 30,000 products, this initiative benefits the company by about 40 million VND, with a total profit of 150 million VND/year.
Concurrently holding many positions
In addition to being a passionate garment worker who creates and completes his work well, Mr. Do is also a good union president, trusted by cadres, union members and workers.
Ms. Do Thi Thanh - Head of Sewing Team 13, Long Yu Vietnam Co., Ltd. - said: Although he has only held the role of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union since 2023, Mr. Do and the union executive committee have contributed to the development of the movement for workers at the company. In particular, Mr. Do regularly suggests opinions so that the company's management board can focus on caring for and protecting the rights of workers, revolving around the issue of guaranteed salary, bonuses, and shift meals".
At the company, Mr. Do is an exemplary union president, locally he is known as an enthusiastic and responsible Youth Union Secretary.
It is known that Mr. Do has been the Secretary of the Hong Long village Youth Union (Nam Hong commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province) for nearly 10 years.
After working at the company, I arranged my time to participate in activities in the locality where I live. The most exciting time is in the summer, the youth union will organize an autumn camp and summer activities for teenagers and children" - Mr. Do shared.
With his efforts and contributions, Mr. Do has received certificates of merit from the Nam Dinh Provincial Labor Federation, the Nam Truc District Labor Federation for many consecutive years... From 2018 - 2023, he was also a party member who completed his tasks well, of which in 2022 he was a party member who completed his tasks excellently. Recently, Mr. Do received a certificate of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to honor outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
