Decree No. 198/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on People's Air Defense, effective from August 22, 2025.
Clause 3, Article 6 stipulates the organizational structure of the People's Air Defense Command of the Military Region as follows:
a) The head of the Steering Committee is the Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the military region.
b) The Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is the Deputy Chief of the Military Region General Staff who directs the activities of the air defense forces of the Military Region;
c) Member of the Steering Committee:
The Standing Member of the Steering Committee is the Head of the Air Force Zone phong;
Members of the Steering Committee are Heads of the Provincial People's Air Defense Steering Committee; a Head of the functional agencies of the military region, including: Department of Politics, Department of Logistics - Engineering; Office of the Command, Department of Combat, Department of Military - School, Department of Forces, Department of Militia and Self-Defense Forces, Department of Finance/Ministry of Staff, Department of Organization, Department of Propaganda, Department of Mass Mobilization/Department of Politics, Department of General Planning, Department of Military Medicine/Department of Logistics - Engineering.
In addition, the Standing Agency of the People's Air Defense Steering Committee of the Military Region is the Military Region Staff. The functions, tasks, organizational structure, and operation of the standing agency are decided by the Head of the People's Air Defense Command of the Military Region. Advising and assisting the standing agency is the Air Defense Department of the Military Region.
