The People's Committee of Dong Thap province has just issued a Plan to implement job creation and send workers to work abroad under contracts in 2025.
Accordingly, the goal this year is to focus on creating jobs for 30,000 or more workers, in which, strive to send at least 2,000 workers to work abroad under contracts; 100% of communes, wards and towns in the province have workers participating in working abroad under contracts.
To achieve the above goal, the Provincial People's Committee encourages businesses to invest in industries and fields to attract many workers in the area; effectively implement preferential loans for job creation for small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, cooperatives, business households and workers, and start-up loans for young workers.
The Provincial People's Committee will direct the review and selection of enterprises operating services to send workers to work abroad that are reputable and meet legal requirements to operate in the field of sending workers to work abroad under information contracts to units, localities and people to know and learn about when participating in working abroad.
The province continues to improve the quality of vocational training associated with job creation, meeting the needs of the labor market, especially the foreign labor market; effectively implementing career guidance, vocational training, fostering knowledge and skills for workers, especially foreign languages, culture, awareness of compliance with labor laws, creating a high-quality labor source before sending them to work abroad.
