On October 26, the Ngoc Lac Commune Trade Union (Thanh Hoa Province) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. In recent times, the Ngoc Lac Commune Trade Union has always identified its key task as caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
The union has coordinated with businesses, agencies and units to effectively organize activities such as "Workers' Month", "Tet Sum Vay" and many practical welfare programs, supporting hundreds of union members in difficult circumstances with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND.
The work of monitoring and protecting workers' rights has been effectively implemented. The commune trade union has coordinated with competent authorities to promptly resolve many cases related to social insurance, health insurance, and wages, contributing to stabilizing labor relations at enterprises in the area.
Currently, 100% of affiliated grassroots trade unions organize periodic dialogues, labor conferences, negotiations and signing of collective labor agreements. Propaganda and education work has been innovated with many diverse forms, in which 100% of grassroots trade unions have built their own social networking sites to promptly share information, new policies and regimes with union members and workers.
At the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee and key positions of the Ngoc Lac Commune Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, and appointed delegates to attend the 21st Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress.
