Not afraid of losing a job
It was not until the story of restructuring the apparatus was "hot" in the media and public opinion that Ms. Bang thought about quitting her job in the commune.
Before becoming a commune official, Ms. Bang had a few years of freelance business. In 2007, she started working at the Commune People's Committee as a female cadre. Having held a number of other positions, for nearly 10 years, Ms. Bang has worked in the one-stop department.
"My salary is nearly 7.8 million VND/month, an additional 700,000 VND/month in support money, and my total income is about 8.5 million VND/month. In fact, because my husband's income is quite good, I can't afford to raise 2 children to study, and my salary is not enough to cover the food expenses for my family of 4," said Ms. Bang.
From 2018 to present, Ms. Bang and a group of women in the commune have registered to rent a space near their home, opening a yoga class and sports dance. Ms. Bang did not expect that the left-handed job helped her have a stable income that has increased steadily over the years.
After the Lunar New Year, Ms. Bang decided to report to the leaders about her retirement and is currently waiting to be considered.
Many people are worried that when civil servants and public employees are born, it will be difficult to find a job and ensure their lives, but I think it is all about how I respond and know my strengths to promote. I have been meaning to quit my job for quite a while and now is the right time to make a decision, Ms. Bang shared.

According to Mr. Thanh, this is a qualified and experienced workforce. This is also a source of additional human resources to the labor market in the coming time.
To provide this group of workers with additional skills to suit their requirements, the non-state working environment needs to have a specific survey, assessing the actual needs of workers in each job position they are interested in. At the same time, there must be a survey of the demand of businesses for this group of human resources, said Mr. Thanh.
Proposing solutions to support groups of civil servants who are streamlined to join the labor market early, former Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Employment (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) Le Quang Trung said that it is necessary to strengthen the link between training institutions, enterprises and employment service centers in training, retraining, improving professional qualifications and employment after training in each locality, region and country to support workers in general and those who quit their jobs in state-owned units in particular.
On the other hand, Mr. Trung also proposed to enhance the role of capacity building for job service centers and promote labor market information work, especially in forecasting short- and medium-term labor supply and demand...
