In the journey to sow the seeds of hope and continue writing unfinished dreams of unfortunate children, the model "Throwing your head - Lifting your steps to school" of the Labor Federation of Vinh Chau town (Soc Trang province) is spreading love, unleashing humanity and lighting up faith in a brighter future for dozens of people.

Mr. Lam Minh Phung - Vice Chairman of the Vinh Chau Town Labor Federation (Soc Trang province) - shared that the journey to connect with love begins with the connection of teachers in schools. When he learned about the examples of students overcoming difficulties, he went directly to each locality to survey each situation.
As in the case of Da Ra, living with his biological uncle in No Thum hamlet (Vinh Tan commune), his mother died early, his father left the village, he had to dig crab and catch fish since he was young to take care of each meal of the day. Or the two sisters Bao Anh and Bao Tran in Vinh Hiep commune, who are just over 5 years old, have lost both their father and mother, and are currently living without a grandparent, a weak grandparent, and are often sick. In Len Buoi hamlet (Lac Hoa commune), 3 children, the oldest child under 10 years old, the youngest child over 4 years old has lost both father and mother.
Through social networks, Mr. Phung has connected with more than 20 benefactors to join hands to sponsore not only money, milk, and rice but also faith in their path of learning.
In addition, local union officials have also actively implemented the model of "Loveful numbers - workers, civil servants, and laborers in Vinh Chau town" to mobilize and contribute to raise funds to care for unfortunate children.
Mr. Phung said that up to now, the program has regularly supported 44 students in especially difficult circumstances in all 10 communes and wards in the area. Each student receives support from 400,000 - 700,000 VND per month, along with 2 boxes of powdered milk and 10kg of rice, contributing to helping them reduce their burden, continue to steal their books to school and nurture their dreams of studying and improving their lives.

Tran Pham Hong Lac, who just finished grade 9 at Vinh Hiep Secondary School (Vinh Chau Town, Soc Trang Province), shared that his family life has been at a standstill since his father suddenly passed away. The entire family of 7 people was completely dependent on their father's income, now all the burden fell on their mother's shoulders.
"There were times when I thought I would not be able to continue my studies. But thanks to the love and help of benefactors, I have been sponsored and have the opportunity to go to school like many other friends," Lac said emotionally.
