On November 26, the grassroots trade union of the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor (CFF) held its 34th Congress. The Congress was attended and directed by Ms. Hoang Thi Lam - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; along with leaders of departments and all union members.
For the 2023-2025 term, the grassroots Trade Union focuses on taking care of union members' lives: organizing 2 periodic health check-ups with a budget of more than 60 million VND; visiting over 35 union members with more than 10.5 million VND; organizing activities to care for children worth more than 95 million VND. Union members donated 5.8 million VND to the "Union Shelter" Fund and over 10 million VND to support people affected by natural disasters.
Social security activities are a highlight with support programs with a total value of more than 1.1 billion VND, including giving milk to disadvantaged children, supporting disaster areas and union members and businesses affected by storms.
Propaganda and education work has been effectively implemented, 100% of union members participated in the resolution study, actively responding to the emulation movement. The union has completed 10/10 of the resolution's targets, 3 targets exceeding the level; introduced 2 outstanding union members to join the Party.
In her speech, Ms. Hoang Thi Lam acknowledged the achieved results, suggested that the Trade Union continue to innovate the content and methods of operation and improve the effectiveness of caring for union members in the new term.
The Congress elected the 34th Executive Committee consisting of 3 people and elected 2 delegates to attend the 18th Provincial Trade Union Congress. The Congress called on union members to unite, innovate, compete to fulfill their tasks well, and build an increasingly strong grassroots union.
