On November 25, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation, the Dao Phuc Ha Khiem Cooperative Union held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term in Quang Uyen commune (Cao Bang).
The Congress was attended by representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation, local leaders, the Cooperative Board of Directors and 24 union members. It is known that this is the first grassroots union in the area to organize a congress.
The report at the Congress showed that, although the traditional blacksmithing profession still faces many difficulties, the Union still focuses on taking care of union members' lives with more than 20 visits, supporting union members and sick people.
Organize "Union Meals" and many activities for children of workers. Union member development work has achieved outstanding results: from the initial 7 union members (2024) to 24 union members.
The union closely coordinates with the cooperative in protecting the rights of workers, propagating for blacksmithing safety, disseminating laws and maintaining information channels to promptly grasp the concerns of union members.
In her speech, Ms. Hoang Thi Lam - Vice President of the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged the efforts of the Union and suggested continuing to innovate activities, improve staff capacity, develop sustainable blacksmithing and promote products.
The Congress approved the direction for the 2025-2030 term; elected the Executive Committee of the first term consisting of 3 comrades and elected delegates to attend the 18th Provincial Trade Union Congress.
The Congress was a success, creating an important foundation for the Union to continue to develop and contribute to preserving the traditional value of Phuc Sen blacksmithing.
