On November 23, information from the Cao Bang Provincial Labor Federation, the grassroots trade union of Phuong Anh Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Company held the 2nd Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
The Congress evaluated the results of activities in the 2023 - 2025 period. The grassroots trade union has performed well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; coordinating to ensure jobs, income, policies, etc.
During the term, the grassroots union admitted 13 new union members; organized welfare activities, tours, and vacations; gave gifts to union members' children on the occasion of June 1, the Mid-Autumn Festival; rewarded outstanding union members with a total budget of more than 120 million VND.
The trade union conducts supervision of wages, social insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene; maintains periodic dialogues, receives and resolves recommendations from workers, contributing to maintaining stable labor relations without arising disputes.
In his speech, leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor as well as representatives of enterprises acknowledged the achieved results, and at the same time requested that grassroots trade unions continue to innovate activities, strengthen supervision, dialogue, and improve the effectiveness of caring for union members in the coming term.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 2nd term, consisting of 5 people, and elected 3 delegates to attend the 18th Congress of the Cao Bang Provincial Trade Union. On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor supported more than 32 million VND for 18 union members affected by storms No. 10 and 11.
