Ben Thanh Ward Trade Union, Ho Chi Minh City received more than 500 sets of ao dai donated by grassroots trade unions in the ward to give back to union members and workers in difficult circumstances on the afternoon of March 9.
At the ceremony, the Ben Thanh Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union to organize a thematic activity program "When We Are Happy" with the participation of over 100 union members, workers, and members of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union.
Delegates listened to Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Department of Building Cultural Lifestyle and Family, Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City - share knowledge and experiences in building love, sharing, and building family happiness from stability in life, labor opportunities, economic development, and rising up with their own labor.
On this occasion, the organizing committee also awarded 6 scholarships to students from families in difficult circumstances in the ward.
This is an activity to celebrate International Day of Happiness March 20 and the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026) and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising.
