According to Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Linh - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, one of the key tasks in the coming time of the Trade Union organization is to strongly orient grassroots activities, increase resources and human resources for grassroots activities, stick with union members, overcome " commercialization" of activities.
In particular, the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions will continue to be maintained and promoted. Not only focusing on developing trade unions in enterprises, in the coming time, the City Labor Federation will focus on establishing trade unions, thereby attracting and gathering more subjects to trade union organizations according to the provisions of the Trade Union Law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The top priority at present is to focus on reviewing contents related to negotiations, collective labor agreements, and dialogues at the workplace. These are contents practically related to the rights of workers, ensuring harmonious labor relations in enterprises as well as in the city. The Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation will assign staff to conduct a review as well as support grassroots unions, in order to not only increase quantity but also ensure quality in each collective labor agreement.
