On September 28, the Mui Ne Ward Union, Lam Dong Province, said that the unit and union members of affiliated grassroots unions participated in voluntary blood donation at the Mui Ne Regional General Clinic. As a result, 57 units of blood were collected.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc - Chairman of the Mui Ne Ward Union - said that through the implementation of the campaign, many union members have volunteered to donate blood.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the Trade Union Congresses at all levels, while continuing to promote the humanitarian blood donation movement to spread in the community.
Many union members and workers have voluntarily donated blood, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and support, contributing to taking care of people's health.
Previously, the Ward Union mobilized grassroots unions depending on the scale of the work to send union members to participate. Each donated blood unit is supported with 180,000 VND, including food expenses, travel and meals.
The voluntary blood donation movement in Mui Ne ward is increasingly spreading, affirming the role of the trade union organization in accompanying social security work and raising the sense of responsibility to the community.
